Gallery Shakes Things Up for Art Aficionados with Modern Paintings and 7 Martinis
Long-standing art gallery switches gears to host a trendy martini night accompanying a modern art exhibition.
Coconut Grove, FL, June 9, 2006: Coconut Grove Gallery hosts 7 Martini Night on June 9th from 5:30pm-8:00pm. Shaken Not Stirred titles the modern painting exhibition on display in the popular art gallery from June 9th-July 11th. Shaken Not Stirred features artists’ work in a wide assortment of styles and mediums. Although mainly local Florida artists, the gallery also features work by artists all across the US. This exhibition is the catalyst for the more modern artistic direction in which CGGI is headed.
Participating Artists: Aaron Bailot • Jeanne Goodman • Kathleen Earthrowl • Hans Feyerabend • Armando Pedroso • Roland Ruocco
Several of the artists will be in attendance to speak about their work and career. Each artist has been selected because of their use of non-traditional media, methods or subject matter. “These artists have ‘shaken’ off conventional art ideas to create fresh, exciting, contemporary art”, says Danielle Lanteigne, Gallery Director.
Coconut Grove Gallery and Interiors has over 20 years experience. Started as a small frame shop and has expanded to an entire city block with over 14,000 sq ft showroom, interior design, framing, and art gallery space.
